citroen xsara rear axle

After searching around I've found a refurbished rear axle with bush and bearings for £120 in Langar but it has no arms. I'm I right in thinking the rear arms are just pieces of metal with no bushes etc in and if I buy this axle the old arms will go on new axle and job is a good un or is that just too feckin easy?!

No you'll need to put new bearings on your arms for it to be any good.

I had these guys fit a recon axle to the last 405 I had. Ignore the prices online, they will do you a decent discount .I think that I paid £250 with it fitted for that, they hate me there now as it took all day and was a bitch of a job but honoured the price.

Is this same Xsara rear axle as in other thread you started on Friday about Xsara rear axle?  So much Xsara axle, so little time.

Sorry Vladimir I thought I'd deleted it. Yes it is same axle. Ordered a new one from im axles in Langar, same place who does tubes ut I've paid 220 for one complete with arms etc. Can't collect till Thursday afternoon and hoping to be at shitefest Friday so this could be fun
