Hadnt thought of that... Dont think ive ever seen a probe raced, i imagine there wouldnt be much protection to stop the engine getting smashed quickly once that big moulded bumper was off.

it really isnt a bad motor, but nobody seems to want.

I think Ford had similar issues when they were trying to shift them new!

its a shame as they are nice cars. for the sort of money they change hands for now they are a steal. When they were new they were stupidly overpriced, Ford put a ridiculous price on the spares and servicing and Gareth Cheeseman didnt help eitherPicking up one now for under 500 notes they are well worth a look. They drive really nicely if a bit underpowered and ive had very little grief from mine.Theres a good owners club and a dedicated parts supplier selling bits for very low prices.very under rated cars. Only thing that lets them down for me is the very jap- 90s grey plastic everywhere interiors.

Dave, you know my view on them, horrible shape, horrible to sit in, horrible to drive, horrible to work on...................otherwise they are ok :lol:

Weighed it in this morning. £100 in my pocket and some new manhole covers for china. It served its purpose to me, but i still think its a waste!
