bought from a scrappy with a bent back panel, for £80 and sold on with tax and test, 6 weeks later for £500.

 

its the only car i've ever made mney on!

 

and when bleeding the radiator the valves were like taps off of the central heating or something?

I has a blue 105 I picked up for £60. I cleaned her up, did a fee jobs and got a full mot and sold to a girl for £400 who I then went out with for a fee months. I couldn't see her for long though as the engine was on it's last legs. Nice car and she wasn't bad either!

Cheap as chips! Almost stands up financially to bring it back to the UK and sell on but the LHD would put most people off.
