Very rare on these roads, a Corolla Sedan, more common are hatchbacks.

Some time later I met this beauty, Audi 100 CD 5E, rustfree, only 42k km on the counter!!

I must admit, it's a lookalike. It says VolksWagen and instead of the Mattell is the VW logo. Bought it on the TechnoClassica in Essen years ago.No scene tax though, seems like I'm the only one having that one around. But it's an eye-catcher, even young boys' moms recognize it, like 'Hey, you got a Hot Wheels sticker on the... Oh!' :P But the Passat is quite unique in the whole area, no need for stickers, maybe I'll drop it once it becomes more bubbly.

I live right next to a Junior school,& if I'm around when the kids come out,I can guarantee 2 or 3 will point at the sticker and turn to their Mums to tell them :)

Cool Corolla, looks different with the number plate between the taillamps like that (it was down on the bumper over here). A friend's mom had one, did well over 325,000 kms before they sold it.

The car or the sticker? Love the Audi 100 C2 & your Passat! My favourite German cars are the Audi 100/200 C2, the Audi 80 B1 / B2 inc Coupe / Quattro, Audi 90 MkI (don't know the designation), VW Passat B1 & B2, VW Jetta MkI (again don't know the designation), VW Scirocco MkI (designation??), BMW 5 Series E12, BMW 7 Series E23 & BMW 6 Series E? MkI. Also like some of the old Opels like the Manta A & B, Kadett C, Rekord D & E, Ascona B....think that's all

I was referring to the sticker...The car isn't bubbly at all and that really makes me wonder! Just a little spot on the passenger door, that's all. Being a 1987 model it is supposed to rot at doors, tailgate, arches, domes... but nothing!I've had her for almost 5 years now and I don't see us parted for the next years to come. Very smooth 5-pot, pulls like a train, nice roar, good MPG as well.

It's a GL5? I adore that engine sound. I was even tempted by one when I was car hunting recently but I'm trying to save some money & I think that engine would have been as juicy as my Alfa was.

Not exactly a GL5 but a 'trophy' special edition, the only one with painted bumpers. Came with roofrails, trunk cover, door boxes, GL carpet, tinted windows, Gamma stereo, cassette box, bucket seats etc. mine has optional PAS, central locking, split rear seats and a sunroof. Quite complete for a 1987 model, I think.Thirsty? It depends but no more than 10.5l/100km. Meaning a full gas tank takes you 600km... I know you calculate in MPG, what's that then?
