To scrap or not to scrap?

Bit of an update. Put car in for MOT - told it had failed on a tyre. Ã‚Â£39 + vat. Not a bad result, just need three more and a timing belt. Don't know what make of tyre it, will be pissed off if its a kingpin radial for that price.
