I'm wondering about the coupe directly in front, and the Mk1 Cortina lamped "special " in the outside lane.

Isn't the Cortina lamped coupe an early TVR? Have to admit to being stumped on the foreground coupe.Presume the wonderful factory was actually making hoovers then as opposed to selling fruit & veg?

Front wing and sidescreens of that 'special' look like those of an early Spridget. Could it be one with a hardtop coupe conversion. Ashley? Lenham?

I think you've got the road slightly wrong,that's the Great West Road,not the A40

I wondered as well why the Transit is making a bd for freedom over the central reservation. Looks like a winter scene - it's very hazy in the distance. I wonder if that's the smog they used to lecture us on in Public Info Films?Think the Cortina lights are on a TVR, but by no means certain!
