Driving Licence D1 Form

I've recently had to renew my licence as I've just moved back in with my folks, so obviously I had to change my licence address to there, only problem being I've lost my D740 paper counterpart so rather than just filling in the new address on that and sending off I've had to get a D1 Application for a driving licence form, also noticed my photo on my photo card was due its 10year change in January so opted to change it now since I'm already paying £20 for a new licence, anyway section 2 of the form asks for your name, title, date of birth and full current address and has separate sections for house number, street and postcode. However there is then a box below that which is blan but says above "if any of your details entered in section 2 above have changed since your last licence was issued, please list here" or words to that effect. Anyway obviously my address has changed and I filled in my full current address but totally forgot to write in the blank box that my address had changed and what my previous address was.

My question is, will doovla use their common sense and just send me my new licence no problem (I've put my existing photocard in the envelope with the D1 form and the £20 cheque so they can clearly see my old address and 1 of the 3 boxes I crossed as a reason for applying for a new licence was a change of address) or will it just get sent back to me saying I haven't filled it in fully/correctly? (Not even sure why they want me to detail the change and what it is,surely when they bring my record up on the computer then look at the application they'll see the address has changed, why do they need me to write 3 lines in a box pointing this out and listing my previous address, they have it already and I've provided my new address, but I know doovla aren't known for using their common sense)

Anybody reapplied for a licence recently and know much about this? Everything else on my application is spot on.
