Wanted Wanted. Pair of Volvo 850/V70 front discs.

I know this seems really cheapskate, so please don't all come on wailing about how cheap front discs are.

I'm trying to do a few jobs all at once on my V70, and my budget doesn't stretch to all new OEM parts.

 

Now that's out of the way, has anyone got a pair of unworn front discs for my V70?

I'm pretty sure 850 discs are the same. 15 inch wheels, so I think these are 280mm discs. I think the higher perfomance models, such as the T5 and R have larger discs so no good.

Also, if anyone has said items for sale, can you post?

Just tripped over a pair of 302mm discs and pads with about 3000 miles on them, unless you get the larger carriers and suitable wheels I can't help I'm afraid! Typical.

The pads are here and I may be able to post if you can wait a few days. They're mintex iirc

Thanks chap, but will 302mm be ok with 15 inch wheels?

302s won't fit under 15"s.

 

Some 16"s fit (there's a list somewhere) and anything above that will clear them. Calipers and pads are the same, just caliper carriers and discs that are different.

 

I'll check what state the pads are in this weekend of you like, as they will fit both disc sizes.

I think I'd better try to keep these to original spec. Don't really want to start swapping calipers carriers etc. Thanks for the replies though.

If you need pads these ones will fit your discs though! Easier to post too, those discs are heavy buggers for these!

 

I have a rebuilt caliper as well, front nearside I think!

Calipers are working fine, and my pads look almost new, so just the 280mm discs are what I'm after really.
