Cam belt change.... how much would it cost?

Hi all,

 

The wife's Multipla diesel needs it's cam belt swapping, but I can't get a spare 10 mins to do it!

 

What ball park price would it cost to get it done? I have the parts to go on, including a new water pump and a good secondhand crank pulley to go on.

 

I'm not even sure how long this job would take.... I guess I could do it myself, If I could slot it in 10 mins before I go to work or something...

Had mine done on my Carisma. Renault 1.9 Di-D engine. IIRC it was about £270

 

EDIT: Just read the original post Properly.............you're not needing parts, so I reckon about £100 at a decent backstreet mechanic.

Book times are just a joke aren't they. I would charge 4 hours to do that but would include a wp and tensioner change . Also I'm only 25 per hour no vat
