It seems that the A47 auto jumbles would make for a good shiters meeting. Link at  http://www.a47autojumble.co.uk/index.php

 

The location is just west of Leicester so easy for M1 or M69 (via M6) access

 

Both an autojumble and informal classic car gathering then anything that is pre-1987 gets in free.

If you turn up in something new then it's only £3 and for those that are clearing out old parts the stalls seem very cheap as well

Sounds like a plan. I do the A47 sometimes, the section through Rutland around Oakham is bloody lovely, like that Lemon Jelly cover for Lost Horizons.
