Stop leak - Is it all Snake oil ?

I know most of this Stop leak , bar leak ets for oil leaks is just seal swell and or snake oil

But I've seen rave reviews for this AT-205 ATP , but cant see it for sale in the UK

Any good ? Can you get it n the UK or is it called something else here ?

It'll probably work for a bit and then leak again, or possibly even cause major engine damage if it blocks something it's not supposed to.  If it's a bad leak then it needs proper attention, other small leaks seem part of the design of some engines.

 

Either way, it's not a permanent solution, but if you aren't too bothered about the car then you could try it.

I did a clutch on a 107 a couple of months agoand once it was on the ramp I knew why it was slipping . Gear box input seal leaking. On these it's a box strip job to replace so had a word with the customer and suggested a bottle of hopes and dreams for the gearbox.

She popped in this week to have it checked. Dry as a pharaohs sock. So some of these things must work sometimes.
