What did impress me was even at that mileage the drivers seat bolster and base was still in good nick although the pattern of the material reminded me of the carpet in a early 90s travelodge.

I've had many old Fords over the years and have to say the fabrics used always appear to be of a high quality the same with the door cards etc.  They are more likely to suffer sun damage than wear and tear.

 

As for the pattern didn't these early MKV's often have a two tone grey chunky oblong affect?
