Whats an early Mk1 transit worth these days?

We've a spare Mk1 transit pickup sitting dry stored in the garage, at home, very much in the way now.

It was originally intended as the spares truck for my 65 Pickup, but its too good for that -and all the bits that one needs are readily available.

So, this one needs to go. Its a 1966 French registered lhd Pickup. It runs/drives fine (although it hasn't been fired up in a few years), needs the door steps sorting (parts inc) and there's no pickup bed (although the hinges, fitments etc are with it, in a bucket). One brake is apart -but a spare comes with it.

So -what's it worth? I haven't a flamin' clue!

your problem is the LHD bit mate. The only reason the German fire vans get good money is they are largely minty, very low mileage and ready to register.

A RHD UK reg'd early chassis cab in running condition would easily be a grand.

BTW thats probably a 1965 build and very early indeed....
