Trouble with french shite

I own a 1.9dci megane scenic 52 reg, pants I no but I keep it in tip top nick even though I have 3 kids! I have recently changed the egr valve a pierburg one at a very reasonable £66 but when ever the car hits an incline as before I changed the egr the turbo becomes naturally aspirated. The light comes on and eventually the turbo kicks back to life !! Any advice or shite help or tips (other than scrapping it) would be appreciated

Has the car been on a scanner?  Other than that a very careful look at all the pipe work for the turbo and manifolds, intercooler too. All the plugs and wiring as well be a start.

The boost control solenoids play up on those. Also check the vacuum supply to it as it's fed through a pin hole off the vacuum pump.

Ive had the laptop plugged in and it revealed a number of codes for faults and they come back as an egr issue, but without wiping the codes the nexy time I plugged it in they had dissapeared!! I have not looked at the boost solenoid where is it located? Thanks for the replies

The problem with french cars, like on a sunday you spend all day gardening then you go to put it all in the boot of your 306 but the boot decides it doesn't want to open no more, so you come inside and leave the pile of crap in the garden.
