I went on a holiday with the missis in May this year (yes I know I'm a bit slow at posting this), and was always armed with my camera!! Between seeing the sights I did a bit of Retro car spotting and this is what I found ...............

Also the Missis was reading the inflight mag on the way there and in the small print spotted a "festival of speed" at one of the art galleries in Rome! Luckily she "let me go"

We were unsure as to what we would find and expected just a few paintings and sculptures on the subject................ How wrong were we!!

Its my digi cam so I just flicked it from colour to B&W as and when I needed too!!

Lusting after all those 500s, that pic with the girl is top drawer.Great to see old Alfas still in use too.Whenever I've been to Italy, I've always seen a Mehari or three - the Italians seem to love them

Great spots, I love the Mehari and al the 500s!

 

My parents are in Italy just now, as always I tell them to look out for and photograph 'old cars' and they usually come back with a few nice pics for me.

I just love those 500 pics in the settings - especially colourwashed walls. Got loads I've taken in the past - I'll get some posted up here
