Alright shiters most of you know the story with this van, I've done loads of work on on it and don't really want to sell it but its sat doing nothing and I really need to rebalance my cars v money situation more in favour of money!

04 plate (March 2004) Rover commerce van, 1.4 petrol, I've just replaced the engine with one from a MG ZR after the original one had a terminal meltdown. runs lovely and is now 103ps instead of the 84 it was originally so its pretty sprightly. The new engine has the steel headgasket and obvs got new fluids etc when I fitted it. It passed the MOT in early december so its got pretty much a years ticket on it. No tax. Its dead tidy, everything works on it and has about 85,000 on the clock. I can't find the radio code so it will probably need another radio (the one thats in is not the original Rover effort). Got 2 sets of keys and fobs.

These are a great drive, mega zippy and the van version is a rare little thing which I think will probably escape depreciation from this point on if you keep it in good nick.

I've got it on Autotrader for 895 but I'll take 700 firm from a shiter if theres an interested one out there. I saw a very similar petrol one go through ebay and finish the day after boxing day for £820 so it seems fair enough. at £700 I'll be making a profit of about £50! Brilliant innit. anyway PM me or call O78OO 9O2396 is you're interested.

I have boshed this on auto trader, but so that i could pay £10 rather than £20-odd i stuck it in the car section. Unfortunately that means its listed as a Rover 25 impression or something so no-one cam actually find it. I think i overdid it on the stinginess.

My brother's interested in this van, but down South near that Lahndan, is paying for it and collecting a bit later an option and would you be able to tax it, funds provided obviously, upfront like, I aint some geezer!

Yeah i think i can tax it actually, its not insured but i think you can tax without insurance now so it should be do-able.

I saw one of these vans in Thornton-Cleveleys this morning, looks like it had had a minor fender bender with a Vectra

Eh? That's weird isn't it? It seems like only a few months ago we were being told your car might be dragged off your drive if it remained taxed while not insured. Or did I just imagine that?
