Since brookjim posted the RAC video I thought I'd share what was happening in the town where I live now in the same year.

The rallys here were annual until the revolution. It started again a few years ago but a spectator was killed so it stopped again.

 

Anyway, lots of nice rear engined skodas razzing about.
