Any cheap Vag spec oil deals around.

In true skinflint fashion it's about time I changed my oil on my ancient A4 and wonder if anyone out there knows of any cheap oil deals.

 

I normally wait till halfords have a half price oil sale but I've seem to of missed it this year and the Asda £10 for 4 litres of GTX has also finished.

 

The oil has to be to spec 501 or 502

I must confess the VAG oil specs confuse the hell out of me but I recommend Euro Car Parts.

If you put in cmoffer25 in the discount box, you'll get your oil at 25% off and a free oil filter (or at least, that was the code in last months Car Mechanics magazine).  Delivery is also free if you can't collect from a local store.

Autoshite never ceases to amaze me as it's such a friendly site.

 

I went on the Euro car parts site and entered the hot 30 code then I double checked the oil on a review site which linked the same oil even cheaper somehow ?

 

So I ended up getting Petronas Syntium 3000 5w40 4ltr for about £13 instead of about £24 plus I bought a new oil filter for the A4 and while I was at it I also bought an new Air-filter for the Audi Cabriolet which Is a complete nightmare to fit.

 

For the discount code to work with free delivery I had spend over £24.98 before the discount , so all in with delivery it came in at £21 for the lot.
