Best Diecast Model You've Seen

Incidentally, does anyone know why those Sunstar Escort mk 3 models have rocketed in price on ebay, Reason I ask is that I have a yellow Xr3i one that Im not fond of (I much prefer the 1/25 Matchbox kit one that I have and also the 1.1l police car) and I was thinking that it might be worth selling on?

A combination of them being no longer available new and a Ford Xr model means they will always be rare and therefore sell for a decent amount. Of the Sunstar Mk3 Escorts, only the black RS Turbo is both still available new and cheap now.

Think mine will be going in the bay then!

If you don't mind dealing with all the pillocks, (trust me they can be worse than Ebay pillocks) there's some good facebook groups to sell models on, if you're on there. They often go for higher than ebay prices, but just be wary of time wasters.

I'm happy to help you out if you decide to go down that route.

Not the best diecast I have ever seen, but very good value for the money and one of my all time favourite cars.

Good stuff Mr P cheers. I made good money at a local swapmeet recently so may go back and included will be the xr3i and a Minichamps Capri mk1 as well.

That BMW Barockengel is a stunner!!

Thank you!

I was very, very lucky. It's a BMW Dealer only edition and I got it from a BMW factory worker with employee purchase rebate.

An unboxed one really isn't that expensive. I sold one a few months back for £8 on eBay.

No takers for mine at the recent Swapmeet either. There were at least 3 others for sale there too.

Oh, now I kmow where to look for one now.  I recently visited a flea market where one was for sale, pricetag said 30€ and the toy was very, very used.

Not a pic of my own, and not very AS, but I picked up an Exoto Martini 935 around 11-12 years ago and it's probably the most detailed diecast I own... (Paid £50-60 for it at the time...!)

Thats a cracking looking piece Floux. I always bummed about with crappy Bburago models of the 935 so its grand to see a proper model of one.

That Exoto Porsche is a beautiful piece of kit. And something with an air-kewled flat-six mounted in the arse-end can't be anything else but rightful shite.
