Apparently it was a lot quieter than it had been last year but I still enjoyed it.

Some of the non-shite was lovely!

Car parks are ALWAYS better than the shows!    Save yourself the entry fee - at least the carparks are not full of dodgy folding chairs and wooden A-boards full of little tin plaques  that say CHOLMLEY STEAM PUFF IN 1986....

I tried to book in the week before but was told there was a waiting list and no room. So i hitched a lift in a Mr2 and had a good day. I did wonder where the Montego and Maestro of this parish were!. Although i did see a certain mr F of this parish with camera round neck heading in the ddirection of the Lothian Hybrid Bus!. Also saw a certain Red Montego in the car park. Didnt see its owner i have to say!. Numbers were down but the organsiers fault there as there was more than  enough room where the buses were parked. Seemed to me all the cars wee concentrated to the Top half of the site towards the Sunday Market. Considering the cost of getting in plus the cost of parking, that site should have been full to bursting with cars. More than enough room there. Wonder how many of the waiing list actually got in. Still i took some pics and sent them into the mag. I have to say though 1.60 for a Dougnut is taking the piss a bit! Drop the prices a wee bit and more people might actually go!. Least it was dry unlike Selkirk!
