Right, sadly this has to go.

 

1999 Peugeot 306 1.9 n/a (DW8) estate.

Bosch pump and thus VEG OIL FRIENDLY.

MOT August 2013.

Taxed, until September I think.

160,000 odd miles.

Multi cd player and radio cassette.

Had a brand new clutch within last 300 miles and a new exhaust section.

Towbar and single electrics.

Power steering, central locking and all that gubbins.

I reckon it's doing 45-50+mpg on a run no bother and fuel is either free (WVO) or £1.00 per litre for new veg oil, plus whatever diesel costs now.

 

I've put a fair few miles on the clock myself and I drove it back 150 miles or something from fellow Shiter Vin who I purchased it off.

Since then we've fixed a few niggles and lobbed the new clutch in and exhaust section.

I'd drive this little MOFO anywhere. It will run on veg, seems to prefer about a 50/50 maybe 70% (veg) and 30% (diesel) mix.

 

Known faults:

Horn doesn't work, but it did a couple of times when we tested it with a hammer so maybe a loose wire or earth or something.

Some little dents/dinks/scratches etc as you'd expect.

Radio needs code entering: we have the code but I CBA waiting the two hours needed!

Central locking works but there's a unique way of doing it. It's dead easy so no biggie.

Time clock doesn't light up.

Probably a couple of daft other things too, I will add to this advert if I can remember or find them.

 

Don't really want a part-exchange but muight consider something really cheap.

 

£595 or offers. There'll be a reasonable shiters discount to be had from that price, pm me if wanted to talk about it. I don't especially want to sell it, it's been a brilliant tool for me and very handy.

It's in Chester, Cheshire and right near the M53/M56/A55 etc so piss easy to find. I wouldn't expect any major problems for next MOT and any inspection is welcomed.

 

Do NOT ask me 'what's your lowest price/how much for cash tonight/what's your best price' etc as that'll just tell me you're a penniless fuckwitt. I'm already one of those myself so don't need another, thanks.

SWMBO wants a caravan and this won't be up to towing some horrendous 4 berth plastic bastarding shed on wheels round. I have the ex-Eddy Ramjet 406 for that sort of pleasure* now and I also have my other 306 diesel hatchback. That (the hatch) is bloody horrible but I just can't bring myself to part with it.
