Anyone want any Mk2 Scirocco Rear Seats?

As per title, I used to have a scirocco GT2 which came with a split 60/40 (?) rear seat as a spare. The previous owner bought it with the intention to replace the non-split one that it originally came with. However after realising that the bracket (fitted to the seats) required welding in, and that it sat literally right on top of the fuel tank  they wisely decided to leave it the hell alone.

 

Anyway, my tenure with the 'rocco has ended and the person who took it off my hands didnt want the split seat - they too had trepidation about fitting it and didnt give much of a toss anyway because the boot is ridiculously massive.

 

So, I now have seats and no car.

 

Is anyone interested? They are living in my garage currently so are dry and relatively mouse-free. basically free to a good home as Mrs_Stanky is keen on decluttering (more room in the garage means possible new home for new shite!)

 

It is 2 pieces, the back bit and the bum bit. The bum bit is fixed, the back bit can be folded down in 3 exciting ways:

 

1. Completely folded flat for fitting massive tat in the back, such as walrusses

2. Two of the 3 seats (66%) folded down for more modestly sized tat such as wardrobes or peddaloes

3. 1 of the 3 (one third) can be folded down for accomodating long, yet narrow tat such as stolen lampposts

 

The seat is in good nick, upholstered in finest check cloth, photos are available at the weekend when I get back home. I live on the south coast and can either have them couriered in exchange for spondooliks, I travel as far as Aldershite(shot) on a daily basis and go as far as twickenham a couple of days a week and am happy to take detours on my merry route to drop them off should that be required. Or you could schedule a riveting day out to sunny, squalid Fareham and come and pick them up in person.
