AMC Javelin. One of the "orphan childs" of the muscle car era. Mine was as rotten as a pair, and had, I suspect, a slightly bent pushrod, but it looked great, and went well. I've always loved the shape of these, and bought it "unseen" from ebay, did nothing to it, and eventually sold it to a very strange French bloke...............

I think they are much more interesting than the muscle cars from the Big Three

I actually had two of them. Contrary to the much overhyped Mopar tosh they were fast, drivable, reliable, and didn't rust as bad.

They were still shit though, mind you.

I always liked the shape of the javelin - I remember getting a matchbox model (which I still have) in the early 70's - they cocked up and called an AMX javelin instead of AMC.
