Karmann Ghiaman Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 MSN's latest effort car-wise. They have certainly stretched a point, many being very good vehicles represented by one notorious individual that someone famous had a mishap with. There are, however, many good old shite friends in there & no doubt much debate will be engendered!http://cars.uk.msn.com/News/car_news_ar ... id=5419390
wuvvum Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Citroën 15: the world's first production front wheel drive car? FFS, I thought people who wrote these articles were supposed to know about cars.
Mr Lobster Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I had a bit of a look at that but decided it was too much cobblers as usual from MSN.
55bloke Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Citroën 15: the world's first production front wheel drive car? FFS, I thought people who wrote these articles were supposed to know about cars. I must admit, I thought it was!! Please educate me.
wuvvum Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Cugnot's contraption was fwd.It certainly was. And more recently (but still not as recently as the Onze Légère) the Cord L-29 was FWD, and that came out, as its name suggests, in 1929. Alvis also made a FWD car in the late '20s, but that wasn't a great success.
55bloke Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Aren't the crucial words in the sentence "mass production"?
