Free Citroen 2cv spares!

Er yeah. Basically about three years ago Trigger saved four boxes of 2cv spares from his local Freecycle, then posted them up on here. I got them as I had a 2CV then, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on which way you look at it!) it was written off before I could do anything with any of the parts. Since then they've just been taking up space in my garage and I'd like them to go to a good home as I'm unlikely to be owning another 2cv for the foreseeable future.

 

There's all sorts in there, lights, horns, alternators, complete speedometer from a Dyane/Club, overriders etc. Anyway I'd like them to go to a 2cv owner who actually needs them, would keep them for spares or pass them on for free to another owner.

Collection only from Southend-on-Sea Essex, sorry but I'm not getting involved in posting and I'd like them to go as a job lot please! Thanks!

And therein lies the problem. I'm about as far west as you can get from Southend without getting your feet wet. Not exactly on your doorstep, but there's a big 2CV meet in St Ives, Cambs weekend 29/30 June. I'm planning to be there but so will many other 2CVers. I'm sure someone will want them. Bring a tent and you can enjoy the real ale bar.
