Following the dissaperance of the free radio code site...

 

a nice chap is hosting a download of this wee programme - download it - unzip it - generates security code.

open the CALC PHILIPS DE DOS.exe

this will open a DOS window and in foreign it will ask:

Entrez votre precode;

 

the precode will be printed on the lable stuck on the back of the stereo (sometimes the top) there will be a long number and then a 4 digit precode,

 

this is sometimes markes "Security Precode" but sometimes not

 

identify it by being letter number number number

 

enter it into the stereo - hey presto U GOT ZOWNZ

 

this works for most of the stereos in the chod we collect until about 5 years ago or so. Pretty much any manufacturer or any car maker branded set (as these are always made by a stereo manufacturer)

 

Now - go and steal some stereos!

For newer stuff I found the chaps on http://forum.legija.net/forumdisplay.ph ... lock-codes to be very helpful, I got a code for my Travelpilot NX GPS jobbie in about 10 seconds flat. Be nicer to have access to the tools they do though
