Proton gen 2 brake question

I bloke I know has an 05 gen 2 that he wants to do rear pads/discs handbrake adjustment etc

 

The caliper is a Bosch which has a lever arm for handbrake actuation

 

His pads are down and he wants to know how to wind the pistons back

 

The pistons are smooth faced with no indents and he doesn't dare peek under the dust seal for fear of knackering it

 

He has tried pressing the piston back with g gramps but it wouldn't budge

 

Any ideas how they wind back?

May be the same setup as the earlier Volvo S40's. They had an allen bolt in the rear of the caliper to retract the piston- see if there is a blanking plug or grommet to gain access to the handbrake mechanism. Never worked on a Gen-2 yet.
