Right, now that I official have the XM to look forward to, I'd better get the ZX vaguely advertised!

This will not be available until W/C 15th April at the earliest, as I don't pick the XM up until Saturday the 13th, so please bear that in mind.

Here is the latest picture I have of her, being washed for charity on Mothers day...(wheel trimz are in the garage so I didn't loose them to potholes etc)

2013-03-10%252010.42.51.jpg

Details:

1997 1.4 SX 8v

75200 Miles (will increase by about 120ish miles a week)

MOT until Feb 2014

Tax until Aug 2013.

MOT Schizzle -

Advisories were: Front numberplate is damaged but still readable, both drop link gaitors have split, but recently, and apparently still do their job of keeping crap out, so were only an advisory, minor exhaust leak (expanded on below) and rear drivers wheel hard to rotate (again, expanded below)

GOOD POINTS:

Long MOT and Tax

£135 a year tax

About 400 miles to a tank

Been very reliable in the 7 months I've owned it, throughout the ice, snow and rain.

I'm the 2nd Owner

Keypad works

Sunroof works (new motor)

BAD POINTS:

Needs 2 new handbrake cables. I adjusted them, which made them pass the MOT but the passenger one is definatly snapped, I imagine the drivers side is close too. New ones are a tenner each on ebay.

Tyres are getting low, I've been planning to do them in the summer

Exhaust is blowing in 2 places. One is in the join where the centre pipe meets the backbox, it need s a bigger clamp, and maybe a smear of exhaust snot. It is also blowing around the centre silencer thing, again some snot may fix, or a new centre pipe (about £50 from euro car parts IIRC)

The drivers side foglight lens fell out during the MOT (had been cracked since before i bought it) Got one on my ebay watchlist for £12.

The passenger side rear wheel is hard to turn by hand. I reckon this is down to the handbrake cable not manipulating the brake shoes correctly, or I've adjusted them badly. I can't notice it when driving.

She could do with a service, she's done just over 5k since the last oil and filter change. Power steering whines, the fluid looks black so a change may help there. The coolant looks horrible, but hasn't frozen yet so I've left it alone. Doesn't loose water or oil.

Some in-depth pictures and potterings are here : - http://www.autoshite.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14641

Will come with the tape player back in, and the DIN adapter for a normal stereo. Front speakers have been replaced as they couldn't cope with Rush turned up very high.

Anyone want to offer me £450 for her? I can put some more up-to-date pics up if anyone wants, I;m at work atm though so cant go snapping right now.
