Lord help me - A VENDRE £700/€825/swap for something with a foldy-down roof or crx-style targa or something. Basically I have a baseball cap I need to use more.

Selling my Ginetta G26 because I'm bored of it not having a fold-down canvas roof. Would make an enjoyable* easy spring/summer project for someone I'd have thought. Ideally someone with a longer attention span than me.

It has an MOT til August or something.

"Built" mostly by Scary_old_Cortina, of this parish. I have kindly resisted polishing it to give the new owner a massive easy win when they get it home.

It's SORNed, but MOT'd til August/September. The Exhaust is blowy, but I have a stainless one that is specially mode for an actual Ginetta G26 rather than being off a Cortina, which has also been adapted with a hammer so the centre box doesn't clout speedbumps and stuff. (It's very low)

It suffers slightly from water ingress, but a massively fat door seal on one side has improved that slightly. It's also been in a garage in the dry for a few months now, which is ace.

It has swanky new badges as well for front and back which were excruciatingly expensive off the owners club. And it has the poshest kit-kar-specific seats ever made.

It no longer boils over, and is relatively content on a motorway run, or round town. Although the heater is still stuck on hot. But it blows on the screen, which stops it steaming up. So that's basically a feature.

It's a 1.6 4 speed for maximum desirability*. It makes a very pleasing Weber-intake noise and goes fast enough to be fun without sluping ALL THE FUEL.

Umm, yeah. Anyone? OH, IT'S IN SHEFFIELD OBVIOUSLY.

All the best people have Ginettas, the G26 is a very practical car because there's loads of space in the rear and if you've got a local motor factors the bloke in the brown store-coat will know all the spare part numbers.

I loved mine, its handling is really enjoyable. If I had a shorter commute and a bit more time for routine maintenance I'd be all over it like a cheap suit.

Have some photos of my old one

Thanks to Trigger for this pic. By this time I'd put wheel spacers on to fill the arches a bit and a tasteful white stripe low down.

And to prove that even a numpty can throw it around...

I love the way the doors seamlessly intergrate into the car, you'd never guess they were from a Ford

Seriously though, that looks awesome fun for the money and I would if *generic excuse time* I had the space

I've fancied one of them for a while, all the simplicity of a cortina but without the OMG WERV DA SILLS/'A'POSTS GONE rust problems.

50P for the plate mate

And that has to qualify as an E bay "don't buy this car pic"

That could be either oil or water, maybe BOTH

I'm under instruction to check the possibilities on the multicar policy tomorrow.. Q plate car + provisional licence holder as the main driver of it could lead to an interesting conversation..

I presume a Eunos roadster would be a bit small for you Tone?

STUNO - It's water from having de-iced it before putting it away!

A5 - you've already bought it once!

Loserone - Eunos plausible if it's not completely fucked!
