A world of complex insurance company invented convoluted bollocks. All designed to make money for everyone except you.

Last time I had a prang (even though it wasnt my fault ) I bought a second* hand car for £200 - drove that until mine was repaired then sold it on.

Insurance company I was claiming from were very happy with this arrangement and covered my insurance for the heap. I suppose it was cheaper for them.

I put my car through their body shop and got it back properly fixed in a reasonable time frame. Didnt piss about with "whiplash injuries" or any of that gubbins and to be honest apart from a couple of days mucking about getting to work at the start of not having a car, it wasnt that painful.
