Shitley Request - Glasgow to Birmingham (sorted!)

Right lads, as some may know I have accepted a free 1997 KV6 Rover Sterling, only problem is, its in Glasgow, not exactly sure where but I can get the address if needs be. I have 4 more weeks left of full time work before I join the unemployed so I'd rather not take any time off if I can.

 

Are there any Glasgow based shiters out there looking to come down south anytime in the next couple of weeks? I will pay your travel expenses and a days insurance on the car for the shiter who can drive it down.

Can you not get a cheap train up to Glasgow? I used to do Manchester > Preston > Glasgow quite a bit and as long as you booked a week or so in advance it was about £15 (although this was about six years ago but even so).

 

Surely an off peak train would get you there easily and relatively cheaply?

Not the tidiest of cars but it free. Can't wait to get it, but I'm gonna have to find some insurance and tax which I wouldn't mind paying for if I wasn't about to loose my job, but hey, its a free car and I've never owned a KV6 so this is gonna be interesting.....

I found the KV6 auto to be the best 800 ever. Second best was the derv.

Tim - If the seller is giving you a hard time about shifting the car, I could always go and collect it for you and keep it here until when the KV6 arrives and bring it up to you next weekend just after the KV6 arrives.

There's no tax on it i'm afraid, hence the need for trade plates in order to drive it. Ta for the offer though!
