2001 Mondeo Ghia X auto estate, £550

Having acquired 109landys3's Rover 75 Tourer (status: SUPA-ACE) my Mondeo estate is surplus to requirements. I'm almost certainly going to regret offloading it as (1) it's been absurdly reliable in 9 years of ownership, and (G) I'm going to get knack-all for it.

 

It's a black Ghia X 2.0 auto with heated black electric leather, cruise, leccy mirrors & sunroof, CD player, quick-clear windscreen etc. Runs bootiful & has literally never once broken down. Everything works except the remote locking (still locks centrally by key). One previous owner, bags of history, annual oil changes, recent new discs etc. I changed the auto box oil at 100k.

 

145k, MOT AND TAX TO OCT 2013... and almost a full tank of pez that my wife put in mere hours after I told her it was being imminently sold (how we laughed).

 

Downside is that having been parked largely by feel (no names - I'm bigger than that*), most of the panels are scarred (C PIX). No rust anywhere though! I've also got a complete spare set of identical alloys featuring some OK tyres. And a spare passenger-side electric mirror!!111!

 

£550 or I hoover it, take some proper pics and stick it on the facking bay. Location: DA SMOKE (Chiswick).

Looks like some T-Cut and black boot polish may improve some of them battle scars; good value for money though

Thankings, Cavston. Yep, if I have to bay it the scratches will be getting The Treatment, though tbf there are also several proper dents (ie the massive-bollard-shunt end of the "supermarket ding" scale).

 

One of my neighbour's brothers might be interested. Same neighbour also guessed I paid FOUR GRAND for 109landys3's Rovah Tourah! Applying this fraternal ratio I'm hoping to get at least £2K for the Mondeo (ie will accept £500).

 

Anyone?

 

This really is the shittest time of year to be flogging stuff.
