Rob's Spots

I've finally got a camera phone (albeit a 7 year old hand me down) so here's a few spots. Lunchtime strolls in the Brixton/Herne Hill/Stockwell area have discovered some top shelf shite, such as.....

Milk Float. Not sure what it's used for now, delivering organic boxes to young Brixton trendies maybe

Scimitar and Renner 18 diesel no less. The 18 is superb, mis-matched panels and manky interior.

Maestro Clubman. I've watched this deteriorate over the years, the latest addition is gaffer tape over the rear door to cover rust holes. Keeps on going though.

Austin 1100/1300 or whatever, 3 door. He'd just come out of the Diamond (Plumbers) Merchant so I papped this crap on-the-move shot

An Alfa in Stockwell.

Stockwell again. Shit-hole pub frequented by salt of the earth rascists (probably) with proper Land Rovers and Mr Whippy outside

Rover Coop.

The other extreme, a Rover 800 hearse still in use. Had to be discreet getting this rather blurry shot, not being used today. What a send off this would be!

One of my local favourites, LHD Pug 504. I'll get some better shots another time.

Great spots!

Can you tell what it says on the side of that ex-milkfloat or produce van?

Father Crabtree IIRC, goggling it doesn't bring up anything so might just be someones daily!

Here's a couple more, these are local to me. Renner 9 GTL in gold, superb :)

And half a shot of an MG Montego that has been sitting in the same spot for a while. Looks good from a distance but god knows what might be lurking underneath. H plate so must be one of the last MGs

The 2.0 Montego estate I had was a wonderful car. Oodles of room with the seats folded down as it had good old slab sides. I moved flat with it several times. I used it for shooting and it was surprisingly good in a dry field. I used to sleep in it too.

The only problem was when you were going into a corner you would not know if it was going to under or over steer. sometimes both.. :D:?
