Xmas Card to Fred Transit from Australia..

Dear Fred...hoping u have a Very Merry Xmas and all that...couldnt help thinking about you when picking up the Merc from my squatted commercial car park nxt door..old boy pulls up in this Mk2 Transit..he told me it was ex-post office and had owned it 28 years..

 

and for me..Father Xmas came early as I spotted his sleigh down in St Kilda...minus reindeer..its to damn hot...so was the sleigh..

I love those extra grill thingies on the Merc that have the right gauge of mesh - wonder if they were a factory option for keeping possums or whatever you have from climbing under the bonnet? They don't look very roo-proof.

Sliding doors are for winners Are those UK spec PO bumpers? It's sporting far too few dents for a uk PO van mind.
