Mitsubishi Carisma - a good buy?

In fairness to the Carisma,look what the alternatives were at the time they came out in 1996

Ford Mondeo - Not a bad car at all,and a very nice car,but certainly not a exciting car at that point in time

Nissan Primevil - sorry Primera ... Again,not a exciting car,but a good one

Vauxhall Vectra - Good,but not exactly a fireball of excitement

Toyota Carina E - Great well built car,but no excitement

That's all well and good what you've written there but none of that relates to the KIA Shuma using the same floorpan as the Carsima or S40 does it? :wink:

Er, well....

You're right! :oops::D

Sod it!

Mondeo was pretty exciting compared to the Carisma! Also don't forget the Pug 406, Peugeot had a good rep for reliability back then so its an not a totally unlikely market alternative, the Xantia probably was a bit too frightening for Mitsubishi buyers. Even the Rover 400 would have been a nicer car.

Ah it's just a bit of fun - good to know if you can use parts from other vehicles to keep them running of course. :mrgreen:

Yeah, I know.

Its just one of those things that floats about in your mind, by the time it surfaces you are convinced its fact! LOL!

Fitting parts from other cars is all part of being an autoshitter. :D
