Online pre 60 exemption works!

Thought I'd try the new pre 60 tax disc exemption. Used a car -UK registered 1988 but manufactured 1957 (in notes) -fully with the expectation that it would fail. Tired yesterday (17th) -& the online system rejected me -no MOT. This morning (18th) it accepted me & is posting me a free disc. So -there's a suprise! Happy days -or not?
