FS: Ford Maverick OMG CHEEP 4X4!

Time to move this one on. Cheap winter motoring in one of the most under-rated 4x4s out there. Excellent off-road ability, thanks to a separate chassis, dual-ratio gearbox and limited slip rear diff. Soft-roader it ain't!

 

2.4-litre Nissan engine (as it's a Terrano really), four good tyres (two pretty much brand new), brake overhaul this year (new discs, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders), rear of sills welded for MOT in Sept. Tax until Feb, less than 100,000 miles on the clock (97k).

 

Some minor body damage because I have used it off-road. Front bumper mainly, but there are a couple of dents and a few scratches due to the lanes. Underside is very tidy, very little rot, waxoyled chassis.

 

Surprise a Land Rover or two for only £845.

 

 

Torsion bars have recently been re-indexed, so it's got a better (albeit not very RR!) stance now.

 

Because I'm an idiot, may p/ex for Discovery Mk1 but must be 1992 or earlier. Not fussed as to engine but would like something that isn't a complete wreck.

It is an unfortunate name. I might just call it the Nissord Terranick instead. Much better.

It's no good. The sums just aren't working. Further fleet reductions are needed.

Fecking hideous, that's what it is. The front bumper looks like a park bench. And wtf is going on with those chrome "character lines" over the wheelarches? FAIL, like most seppo vehicles.
