Anyone need some old BS/ Whitworth taps?

My best mates grandad popped his clogs about 8 or 9 years ago, before I was really on the scene so I never met the guy, but from what I can tell he was deffo a man of my own mind - house electrics wired with loads of "safe" but definitely illegal bits , great big variac on the wall in the workshop and loads of 110v tools with normal 240v plugs on them (I assume borrowed from his work at british steel, to use with his variac on the wall) etc etc.

 

A while ago we had to clear out his old workshop, and the guy had some real good stuff about the place. My mate (his grandson) has stored most of the stuff, but he'd got no use for all the old imperial tackle and I couldn't see it go to waste so I salvaged what I could

 

Anyway, infront of me I have a load of taps:

They are old and smell great. I'm happy for them to just sit idle in my toolbox like they have for the last few years, but realistically I'm never going to use any of them unless I buy some kind of pre 60s british car, which I might, but I really don't plan to.

 

I've done a bit of a list:

 

1/2 x 20 UNF bottoming

1/2 UNF bottoming

1/2 BSF intermediate

5/16 BSF small

3/8 x 20 BSF small

7/16 x 14 whit small

5/16 BSW intermidiate

1/4 x 20 whit small

2ba set of 3 in box unused, hall

3/8 bsw set of 3 in box unused, presto

3/8 bsw set of 3 in box look unused, easicut

5/16 bsw set of 3 in box look unused, easicut

1/4 bsw set of 3 in box look unused, easicut

presto 1/4 BSW set of 3, used but not much

2ba s m used but not much

3/16 BSW 4 taps, two intermediate, used but not much

 

If anyone needs any of these drop me a message and they are yours for the cost of post plus a pint for my mate.

hey aren't in danger of getting slung, but I'd rather they get used.
