As well as a stack of four and two wheeled auto and bikey chod, I have a share in this 1969 Britheap:-

It's a bit tatty, but my daughter likes it:-

It's a Beagle Pup 150, a (mildly) aerobatic three seater, and an over engineered piece of British aeroshitery, partly designed by the same bloke who did the Lotus Europa. It's much better than any American spamcan, but a bit hard to look after, these days.

PS: it even flies, sometimes. This is me and it arriving at Old Buckenham in Norfolk in a quest for the 200 quid burger.

Look, son, just don't question your mum too closely, that's all. What goes to Vegas, stays in Vegas.*

I had a fly in a Bulldog T1 whilst an Air Cadet back in the early 90's which I think is the same as the pup but probably less frills, bit like a british gas HA Viva Van, mind you we thought this was amazing compared to the old flying rivet (the DHC Chipmonk). :-D

Ace! I flew a Bulldog once - proper aerobatics and everything. Much more lively than a Piper Warrior. It was ex-Swedish Air Force and had hard points on the wings for rocket launchers, in case Stockholm was attacked by invaders in a Volvo 340 armed with catapults, presumably.

A dead haddock is more lively than a Piper Warrior, the least apt name ever given to a boring POS aeroplane ever.

The Bulldog is a fine, chunky machine.

I used to fly one of the two ex Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force Bulldogs, complete with Chinese writing on the side. That too had hard points, as did the ones from Botswana. Most of the ex RAF ones are well knackered by now.

The Swedish ones are best, because they have a third seat in the back.
