That Escort plate is similar to the ones found on pre-production Escorts used for publicity by Ford, whats the story with this any ideas? and do you have any more photos of it?

No idea...but he aint crushing it cos i told him i was on my way back for all his UK Fords...i took this recently just before i left.

Parky Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Found a place that charges £1700 to ship cars back from NZ. Aussie isn't quite as far so may be a little cheaper. That did include all taxes but dare say there are other shippers out there Getting the car in is quite expensive though as customs charge you not just on the value of the car, but add in the cost of shipping too. So as I found with a cheap Renault 5, it doesn't take much for your £300 car to become a £2000 bill. However old Skool ford tax might justify the costs for an Escort
