Could someone do a H.P.I check please?

Hi guys and gals. Well I have been offered a 2004 MG-ZR. Loveley clean car with only 37000 miles on it and I'm assured its genuine. I've known the guy who has it for over 10 years so I know his word is good. Problem is he told me that it was damaged repaired a few years ago. I've no problem with that but I would like to know if it is on the register as written off for this or anything else. Thank you very much in advance.
