I was going to mention that very smart blue machine in pic 3, are we sure it's a Corvair? Rear lights don't look right for the Corvair, the model also seems to feature in at least two other pics. Is it a South American model?

Well spotted, tis not a Corvair at all. It's a '61 Plymouth of some description

I must admit, even I wasn't sure it was a Corvair, but the trunklid seemed big enough to house a flat 6 air-cooled lump,

plus the crease around the bodyline is very similar.

It's all the extra chrome detail that foxed me
