This isnt the normal Autoshite but maybe someone might be interested. Photos can be found at http://s1008.photobucket.com/albums/af2 ... %20Camper/

She is a VW 1.9 Petrol Camper, 4 berth with full double bed in the pop top roof.

After looking at a few vans, Nelly stood out as a good honest van with the bonus of having LPG. I have used her extensively for trips to Scotland and back. The LPG makes the trip a lot cheaper than running on petrol. She will happily sit at 70 on the motorway dispatching hills with ease.

Mot - 22nd May 2013

Tax – November 2012

She comes with a massive list of great things about her

• 1.9 Petrol Engine

• Cat 2 Thatcham Immobiliser fitted

• LPG fitted

• Recently serviced on both the petrol and LPG but LPG certified garage (26/3/12 at a cost of over £400)

• Vacum advance fitted to improve economy during the service

• Gear linkage adjusted (works really well)

• Front and rear brakes overhauled in 2010

• New battery fitted in 2011

• Full width JK Rock and Roll bed

• Working Propex heater ( to keep you warm on those cold nights)

• Leisure battery under passenger seat

• Hook up with split charger

• 3 Ring hob with Grill

• Two Calor gas canisters

• Fitted Sink with working water pump

• Underslung Fresh and Waste water tanks

• Remote controlled SONY stereo (to change your tunes from bed)

• Passenger Swivel seat

• Main table plus small table to fit between driver and passenger

• Roof mount for TV in front of van

• Windscreen Wiper mod (makes the intermittent wipe infinitely variable)

• Head light Warning buzzer fitted

• New leather steering wheel cover fitted (stops you burning your hands on hot days)

• Reversing sensors added

• Rear jail bars

• New Goodyear Cargo tyres fitted 3000 miles ago (these are the C rated ones correct for the van)

• VW Caravelle Carat wheels fitted

• Tom Tom Sat Nav included in sale

• Masses of history for the van

• 2 Keys and Immobilises

As any van of 23 years old she has a few bits that are a work in progress

• Some rust in the usual spots such as round the windscreen and under the windows in the rear. It was treated by previous owner and hasn’t got worse

• Speedo is not working. The driver’s hub cap came off and I haven’t replaced it. I normally use the sat nav.

• Drivers seat a bit worn. I was going to swap them for some posher ones when I got a chance

• Catches on the cupboards have snapped and will need replacing.

• One of the catches that hold the top down has corroded. Still holds for now but will need fixing at some point.

Price is £4500 but can do a shiters discount :)
