4.0 Grand Cherokee Limited auto. MOT'd til Feb or March, taxed til end October I think. 124000 miles. LPG'd with feckin' huge tank in boot that takes all the space up. Towbar. Infinity Gold posh hi-fi system with cd changer. Serviced a couple of months ago by me.

 

Body is in great condition. Engine and auto box are spot on. Runs well on petrol or LPG. Everything bar the heated seats works as it should.

 

Rear diff is a tad clanky, probably needs LSD additive as the diff isn't that old in it. Transfer box viscous coupling isn't ideal and locks up a bit on full lock. I've had a the panhard rod ball joint done and have greased all the others but there are definitely a few bushes gone AWOL somewhere as frankly it doesn't drive that nicely and it pulls to the left. Oh, the exhaust fannymould has a slight crack that has got no worse over the last 15 months or so - only £80 for a stainless replacement anyway. They always crack on these things.

 

However, if you need something that will pull stuff, this is ideal.

They are great for towing, I towed a LARGE U-Haul full of our household items back from the docks in Houston - 446 Miles, no problem at all. The 4.0L engine will last for ever, ours has 249,000 miles runs great!

Somehow I'd missed this completely. The alternator is fine, as are the wheel bearings.

 

However, I've still not got round to putting slippy stuff in the diff or replacing the spare tyre....
