K11 Micra Breaker

The good lord sterling of this parish has dibs on some bits and the autobox and has been laid claim too, all other bits up for grabs before it get's bean canned.

Got it back to my mates place as of today, plans to break on Wednesday.

Taken in part ex one 97 998cc face lift K11 moar door auto, 142k but running good as would be expected from a Nissan. We're going to break it due to it's general shabby condition and wobbly joints, also it's needing a vic check due to front end fender bender plus tyres etc etc to get back to MOT standard. I quite like these and purple's the bestest colour though I've many other vehicles to fix that I like/need more.

May yield parts for others so let me know what you need. Bits will be cheapy cheap and priced on weight ;)/how many taps of the hammer are required to remove them. Sort of scrappy remove it yourself price but popped on your door matt instead :D

Car's in Bexleyheath now till Wednesday when we'll be pulling it apart. All welcome to come and remove what you like in the mean time if your in a rush or let me know what you'd like and it can be posted/couriered or what ever suits.

Drivers side doors, wing and rear hatch good. All other panels have more character.

Alloys are 14's with one good tyre, can remove tyres if need be. Spare's 13 inch steel with decent tyre too. Was in use till last week when both front wheels went opposite ways, nsf wing stoved in by big Dave's foot in frustration

Hiya, I could do with a drivers side armrest/door pull handle thingy and the heated rear screen switch if you wouldn't mind please :D

Happy to do a PP thing or an old fashioned cheque. Postie would be my best friend if you wouldn't mind.

Cheers

No probs,I'll make sure the bits are ok then drop you a message. PP's fine as it's quick and easy and the gift payment function incurs no fees:wink:

The plan's to strip all that's decent before it gets fragged so the best bits will be saved. The shell will need to be shifted quick a I doubt my mates Mrs is happy with it being on the drive and more importantly the money from the bridge will pay for racing next weekend.

I'm writing a list of requests as I type and will update with what's already spoken for soon. Any more for any more?

Oh, forgot to ask, does this one have the fag tray between the seats to serve the rear passengers? If so I'll have that too (makes a GR9 coin holder)

Rumour has it that there was some missing contraband loose in the Micra so as a result my mate Matt got a fair bit of it stripped today, he was in there like a rat up a drain pipe and I joined him this eve for some light work/emptying his beer fridge.

This one's got a blanking plate only which is a shame as your not the first to ask, I'll keep and eye out when next down at the local scrappy.

Y'all has pm's. I've given a paypal addy as it seems to be easiest though cash, check, beer and 'other' payment methods are also acceptable

Bin day's all set for Wednesday, just need to remove engine and box, some brake bits and the cat then It'll be ready to go.

Micra breakage got done as planned today, all the good stuff saved and the rest binned.

All paid for items are packed and will be in the post tomorrow morn, 3 - 5 working days delivery is the norm and I have all the tracking numbers too. No problems with this courier firm as yet with all the bike bits so hope all's good this time too.

Tonka, you haz pm!!!

Pics of said adventures coming as soon as I've found the camera cable, bit of a long day but nice weather for it. Micra is gone, but some bits remain, engine anybody?

No worries, pleased that bits will live on with other Nissans. It was pretty solid grot wise with the only real rust being on the front lower crash bar cross member thingy. Put it this way, it didn't need that much effort to chop out for ease of engine pulling :D

After tipping oil all over the drive despite our best efforts I got this GR8 gurning shot of my mate refitting the wheels.

And last minute fuel tank draining before it took it's final drive.

We've been breaking bikes for the last few years but have both quite enjoyed doing the Nissan so are keeping an eye out for another likely candidate, this may turn into a tat tales thread I think.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the 2 parcels that arrived yesterday, somebody was too busy putting another 150 miles on the car last night so didn't start fitting stuff until tonight but locks now changed, window reg fitted, bits of trim replaced and washers fixed, next job painting the wing but that's his department.....

Glad to be of service chaps.

The rest of it bar a few straggling bits have gone up on ebay as of Monday night, all 99p no reserve. Still have engine and box kicking around though don't suspect that these give much in the way of grief. We'll get them listed in due course on the bay as it would be a shame to frag a decent engine.
