Morgan84 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Is there,or has there been any publication of the vehicles which were handed in under the government scrappage scheam at all ? I know maybe this has been asked before, but often wonder how many oldies were actually culled
RedSparrow Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Here is the result of a freedom of info request on 'classic' cars, it's not very detailed! http://www.bis.gov.uk/assets/biscore/corporate/docs/foi/foi-classic-cars-scrappage-102556.pdf Depends what you call a classic I guess. And classic also doesn't always mean rare. The total 'list' is not a list at all, just a rough figure: http://www.bis.gov.uk/assets/biscore/corporate/docs/foi/foi-website-list-of-vehicles-scrapped-under-scrappage-scheme-100026.pdf So basically the government don't have an exact figure (NB of taxpayers money spent), let alone makes and models.
In The Pit Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I'm sure that someone involved with a Triumph club got a fairly detailed list that was up on the net a while ago, anyone know where it is?
