Mk3 Golf GTi awaits £165 per tonne fate - Anyone want owt?

I've got a mk3 golf GTi on it's way, MOT failed on rust and a few bits. I need the engine, seats and wiring and I'm ebaying the easy bits - The rest is getting scrapped.

Any bits can be removed and I don't want a lot of money for them (just make it worth my while taking them off!), but ideally want to keep it rolling until the vinegar strokes though.

If anyone wants to take the shell and weigh it in once I'm done with it is also welcome to have it for some Big Bottles of Beer.

if I were you I would pull the front calipers

with corrado g60 discs you can then fit them to older / cheaper VWs

I did this with my Passat TDI and it was a worthwhile upgrade as it had the same brakes as a 1.4 petrol golf as standard

It seems Im in need of an alternator bracket/adjuster, (you know, that bit with the little teeth on it) but if you're keeping the engine I guess you'll be keeping it.

 

I can't think of anything else that'll fit on my Mk2.

Yeah, I need that bit, but it's different on the mk3s anyway (the alternator is sprung and it runs a poly v belt)

 

Give us a shout if you think of owt else though
