Ooooh, I think I've just found a new favourite car.

Ford "Boss"Capri MkI V8

Engine: Gurney-Westlake 4700cc V8

Configuration: front engine, rear-wheel drive

Driver: Tony Strawson

Class: Special Saloons

Date taken: May 1974 at Silverstone

Image Copyright: Gordon Ackling

information: Geoff and Gordon Ackling

This picture shows Tony Strawson at Silverstone, he was leading the Esso Uniflow Championship at the time and maintained this lead to win the championship outright. The car was one of Mick Hill's originally, having Lola T70 suspension and 12inch (30cms) ventilated disc brakes all round. Firestone tyres were used on the 10 inch (25,4cms) front and 15 inch (38cms) rear wheels. A Gurney-Westlake, 4.7 V8, producing 415bhp fed its power through a Jaguar gearbox to a Jaguar differential. Hand painted strawberries, one for each win, decorated the roof. A later version of this car can be seen below.

Nope, there's bugger all there I'd change.
