Wanted Acclaim part

I'm after a drivers side rear mudflap for the Acclaim, I've managed to get hold of a n/s one off Ebay, the ones fitted to the car looked like they were cut from pit belting and probably helped the arch rust, having sorted out the grotty bits I want to put it back to how it should be before it gets pressed into regular use next month.

 

I've contacted a seller on Ebay breaking one who can't be bothered to reply and was told about somebody else who buys them for the engines who similarly can't be arsed to answer a simple yes or no!

 

So if anybody can suggest anywhere where I might find one being broken it would be much appreciated, cheers

I reckon one of our friendly shiters will have a bagged pair in a Halfords carrier bag in the shed....... probably with a £1.25 price tag on.

All out of flaps I'm afraid!

I have a decent recon rad, centre caps and some other random tat but no flaps.

Try placing a wanted ad on the Club Triumph forum, they have a dedicated section for the Acclaim.

I've registered on there this morning, here's hoping.

 

I should have the bottom half painted within the next week or so, we have booked to go away for a few days next month as it's our anniversary and the Acclaim is to be the chosen method of transport, I'm such a romantic !
