Inspired by the 1973-74 Fiat 2300 concept car on the prototypes thread, I thought I's post this:

Fiat ESV

Fiat ESV 1500. Looks like a hybrid of a 126, Dodge Charger front end and a Hillman Imp rear end.

Fiat ESV 2000. The car that I guess eventually became the 1979 Fiat Strada.

But put this concept car on a torture rack and it would look very much like a 1978 FSO Polonez!

Incidentally, wasn't the FSO Polonez a rejected Lancia design proposal for the Delta :?:

Possibly? This is the rejected in-house design:

That looks great for what I'm guessing is a safety car, I really like that.

* Edit - I've clicked the link now  It is a safety car, how cute is that!
